Makers Cornwall is an inclusive, non-profit creative community which supports local designers, makers and artists in Cornwall. Run by volunteers, it aims to share information and encouragement online, stage relevant workshops, and host social events catering for the needs of our amazing creative community.

 

Makers Cornwall offers a visible and practical platform to encourage and promote the incredible and varied work being produced in Cornwall and aims to make the often solo job of making things a little less lonely.

We are also keen to nurture new makers and involve them in the established Makers Cornwall network. The passing on of opportunities and expertise to the next generation of creatives is important to Makers Cornwall and vital to the continued growth of the wonderful creative sector in Cornwall.

Our Facebook community now hosts over 2K creatives and makers - all at different stages of their creative journey, and all keen to contribute to the wider community. 

We now have regular social get-togethers based in Penzance, Truro, Lostwithiel and Launceston, where information and experience is shared and invaluable contacts are made. If you would like to come along please check our Facebook or What’s On for details of what is happening nearest you.

Makers Cornwall also stages a prestigious Christmas Fair in Penryn (we like to think it’s the best fair in Cornwall), with 70 of our talented Makers exhibiting their very best work for our discerning customers.  Find out about our next fair HERE
